Amelia and mom decided to fly to Great Grandpa Drapers funeral and surpise Grandpa Draper. Due to technical difficulties they missed the Sunday night viewing, but made it to the Monday funeral with a short viewing beforehand.

When Amelia and mom finally made it to Uncle Pat and Aunt Nate's place we talked with Grandma Draper. We all decided it would be fun to dress Amelia in the clothing cousin Spencer had been wearing that day. Cari would take Spencer upstairs until Grandpa figured out Amelia and Cari had flown up for the funeral. Grandpa had had a long day with the viewing and visiting with relatives. That combined with the fact that Amelia was wearing Spencers clothes made it very difficult for Grandpa to figure out what had happened.
