Amelia's News August 18, 2002

And it came to pass that a decree went out unto the people of the land that pictures would not be posted on the web site for the space of a month. And lo there was a great cry heard throughout the entire land and there was great wailing and nashing of teeth. And behold, the people did cry with one voice saying "It is a hard thing for us to wait so long between postings of pictures of the new baby." And so when the lamentations of the people became too much to bare, pictures were posted in hopes of easing the suffering of the masses.

Cari snapped these next few pictures of Amelia in her crib. She moved out of the basinet in our room into the crib in my computer room, errr... ummm, her room. As a result I feel it my duty to provide a night light in her room for at least a few hours after she goes to sleep. :)

More crib smiles.

We have decided that Amelia is a morning person based on the fact that she smiles like this at the drop of a hat in the morning. Cari says the time to get things done is in the morning when Amelia is awake and very happy.

Here's Cari swimming with Amelia. It was Amelia's first trip to the pool. Cari dipped her in a little. Amelia seemed to like it which is good news for Cari as she likes to go swimming with the neighbors.

Here's Amelia after the swimming. She was beat and so enjoyed a nap in her stroller.
